If you’re a seasoned visitor to www.windom-mn.com, you may have checked your URL twice when you landed on the page. Don’t adjust your dial – we have a whole new look!
We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand new website. Take a look around. You’ll notice new content, a whole new look and feel, better navigation, and integration with Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Planning began a year ago, with the intent of offering city services online, such as paying your utility bill, registering for swimming lessons and purchasing skating and swimming passes.
If you were accustomed to the navigation on the old site, you’ll see a significant change – if you’ve bookmarked any pages on the old site, they’ll be due for an update. We’ve structured the site so people new to the area can Explore what we have to offer and citizens can easily access city services that make Windom a great place to live. You’ll be able to register for activities, purchase passes, access and submit applications for licenses and permits. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, however, we now have a City Services index, a How Do I.. section and a Help Center that lists all topics from A-Z; all of which will take you directly to the information you seek.
As with any new website, there may be a few glitches that need adjustment over the next few weeks, so please bear with us. We’ll be adding more content in the coming weeks and months, and have exciting plans for the continued growth of the site. We envision this becoming a “destination site” for residents and visitors alike — the first stop for anyone interested in learning more about our great community.
