The Building & Zoning Department assists the public in the building, zoning & development matters within the City of Windom. You may contact us with any questions or concerns you may have concerning new construction, renovations, fences, signs, moving of structures, demolition of structures, ordinances, restrictions, zoning, flood elevation and other related matters.
A Building Permit will be needed prior to most construction projects. You can obtain a Building Permit by coming in to the Building & Zoning Office at City Hall, 444 9th Street, Windom.
