Windom’s Human Resources office provides responsive and innovative programs, which maintain an effective, efficient and motivated workforce committed to customer service. We are located at City Hall, 444 9th Street and the hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. After hours, calls are handled by our automated telephone system and will be answered on the next business day.
The Administration Department develops and manages the delivery of personnel services and programs including employment, recruitment and testing; compensation, benefits, health, and safety; collective bargaining and labor-management relations; job classification and records. The Human Resources office also assists with the coordination of quality training that equips employees with the technical, managerial, and educational skills to serve the citizens of Windom; and creating a quality work-life for all employees.
